POSITION SUMMARY – Purchasing Clerk
The Purchasing Clerk position is responsible for all purchasing procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Must be willing to work with all regulatory agencies, i.e., Gaming Commission, State, and Federal.
- Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the Internal Controls.

- Must adhere to our SMILE service standards and Core Values by providing excellent guest service. Maintain a positive and productive attitude with guests as well as fellow team members.
- Purchasing activities; includes verification of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, researching vendors and price comparisons, ordering, dealing with vendor mix-ups, shipping, and receiving.
- The Purchasing Clerk shall investigate and report to the Accounting Manager all purchases being made within the IC process.
- Is responsible for maintaining well organized files.
- Is responsible for maintaining all contracts and maintenance agreements for the casino.
- Is responsible for maintaining inventory of frequently used office supplies for the casino departments.
- Is responsible for the mail and will deliver to each department in a timely manner.
- Is responsible for all travel arrangements.
- Is responsible for maintaining knowledge of programs, promotions, and all elements of casino activities.
- Facilitates the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Assist in maintaining floor security by notifying Management and Security of suspicious activity.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION SUMMARY – Revenue Auditor
Responsible for accurately recording audits in a timely manner, thereby ensuring the safety and security of the casino and hotel and smooth, efficient operations in the Accounting Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Must ensure all revenue activities conform to the pertinent governing agency’s regulations, policies and procedures, including but not limited to audits of Title 31, CTRC & SARC filing.
- Responsible for learning the policies, procedures, internal controls and ensuring complete adherence for each of the Mistequa departments.
- Investigate and document discrepancies and issue required incident reports per policy.
- Must have a complete understanding of the slots, Sportsbook, cage, soft-count, bill acceptor drops, table games, food/beverage/lounge and Hotel department’s audit records to effectively audit, investigate discrepancies, and enter all daily information into the revenue audit files. Distribute forms appropriately.
- Will be responsible for tracking the use of employee coupons and complimentary receipts.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate audit of specific departments as designated by the Accounting Manager.
- Must maintain well organized files, including all records retained for current and prior years, so that there is the ability to provide any internal/external auditors and/or gaming agents with all source document information.
- Must have the ability to answer any/all questions related to the audit(s).
- Provide assistance in maintaining floor security by notifying management and security of any suspicious activity discovered during audits.
- All other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required education and/or experience include:

- College or specialized training in accounting/finance.
- Purchasing experience.
Preferred experience includes:
-
- Gaming and/or Cage experience
- Cash management experience
- Auditing experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Above average Microsoft Office experience.
- Ability to work independently and also as a Team Member.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the other duties described herein, every team member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Must be 18 years of age to obtain and maintain a License B with Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Casinos.
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.
- Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
- Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.
