Taylor Cooper joined the Spokane Tribe Preservation Program as Collections Assistant in April 2026. Taylor is a descendant of the Colville Confederate Tribes. She is in the final year of her education to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Art History.  Taylor has previously worked at the Colville Tribes government center in Nespelem, Washington as a Webmaster Intern, and has done volunteer work at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture Campbell House, assisting with school group tours. Taylor is excited about the opportunity to learn more about collections care in her role as Collections Assistant, believing strongly that preservation of cultural resources contributes to a better understanding of shared histories and the unique history of the Spokane Tribe. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys traveling, watching movies, and reading.
